Shopping is convenient, with all portions of the retail market represented, along with many interesting shops in the historic downtown district. Since the city is some distance from other suburbs, large retailers have located there to serve local residents. There is a good deal of tourist traffic, and businesses that cater to that traffic also provide rich year-round attractions, including restaurants, antique shops, and art galleries.
