Cara Strauss – Cara moved to the Twin Cities after graduating from the University of Arizona in 2001 and fell in love with it from the beginning. She worked as the Regional Director of a non-profit for almost ten years and then took some time off to start her family. She became a licensed Realtor in 2013 in part so she could share her love of the Twin Cities with others, especially transplants like herself. She has helped people buy and sell homes all over the Twin Cities but she calls the Western Suburbs of Minneapolis home. Phone 612-306-0808

The only real estate properties under $100,000 are a few vacant lots. Home prices begin in the $200-300,000 range, and include a few townhomes and older single-family homes away from the lakefront, according to the current listings by Northstar MLS participants. From $300,000-$500,000, you’ll find more homes available, including a few lakefront homes on smaller lakes, and a number of pleasant, spacious homes in attractive settings. In the $500-700,000 range, the property listings show lake-front homes ranging from classic 1920s homes to cottages on the shoreline. Beautiful custom homes just off the lake can also be found in this price range, all in beautiful settings and with appointments of the quality you would expect. Above $700,000 to the low seven figures, each home is unique, with most being lake-front homes with a range of appointments and features that depends on the price of the home.
